Newly designed bomber jacket with detachable hood. This bomber jacket is constructed with a water-repellent shell with a heavy modacrylic insulation quilting. It features non-sparking, dielectric, non-metallic zipper and snap closures, plus deep hand-warmer pockets and a chest pocket. Engineered for movement and flexibility, the jacket and hood combo provide protection and warmth.

This item meets the performance specification ASTM F1506-18 which is the Standard Performance Specification for Flame Resistant and Electric Arc Rated Protective Clothing Worn by Workers Exposed to Flames and Arcs. This specification is called out in OSHA 1910.269, NFPA 70E and CSA Z462.
This clothing item is UL Certified and meets the requirements of NFPA 2112-2018. It is considered flame resistant clothing for protection against short term duration thermal exposure from fire in accordance with NFPA 2112-2018. Note that NFPA 2113 requires upper and lower body coverage.

This garment is constructed from arc and flame resistant fabric and components in a facility with audited quality controls. It will resist ignition and not continue to burn when the ignition source is removed. This garment is not intended for fire fighting activities and provides no protection from chemical exposure. This garment will maintain its flame resistant properties for the life of the garment provided wash and care instructions are followed.
