ArcLite Raingear may be safely laundered in front loading industrial type machinery that does NOT use an agitator.
General Guidelines
▪ Do not use home or public washers to clean contaminated clothing. Doing so may contaminate other garments washed afterwards.
▪ Use a front loading washer or other type machine that will allow washing without the use of an agitator. Top loading agitating machines have the potential to reduce the longevity of the garment due to mechanical damage to the shell and/or the attachments. If a top loading machine must be used, use the gentle cycle, which has a slower agitator speed, to avoid or minimize any damage from the agitator.
▪ Do not overload the machine.
▪ Fasten all closures, including pocket closures, all hook and loop, snaps, zippers, hooks and any other closures on the garment.
▪ Do not use any products containing Sodium Hypochlorite, such as chlorine bleach. Chlorine bleach may reduce garment life.
▪ Use warm water. 120 F maximum is recommended.
▪ Do not dry clean.
▪ Do not dry garments in a dryer. Garments should be line dried. Do not hang the garments in direct sunlight.
▪ Do not iron.
