The FR Beanie has a classic folded brim and is made from a super soft inherently flame resistant blend. The double wall construction provides warmth and and comfort and allows for excellent stretch and recovery. Wear it under a hard hat, welding mask or by itself; it is indistinguishable from a premium store bought beanie. Made in the USA from a seamless tube with overlocked seams.

This item meets the performance specification ASTM F1506-18 which is the Standard Performance Specification for Flame Resistant and Electric Arc Rated Protective Clothing Worn by Workers Exposed to Flames and Arcs. This specification is called out in OSHA 1910.269, NFPA 70E and CSA Z462.
Meets NFPA 70E: Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace. Arc Flash PPE Category 3 or “CAT 3” with an Arc Rating (EBT) = 36 cal/cm2
This garment is constructed from arc and flame resistant fabric and components in a facility with audited quality controls. It will resist ignition and not continue to burn when the ignition source is removed. This garment is not intended for fire fighting activities and provides no protection from chemical exposure. This garment will maintain its flame resistant properties for the life of the garment provided wash and care instructions are followed.
