Overall construction is excellent. This shirt is a must for welding. The only thing I would like to see is some type of closure on the split in the cuffs to prevent splatter from going down the sleeve when welding in awkward positions.

I have a whole closet full of "lowdown" shorts and decided to try these. I only got one because I wasnt sure if the value was there but I gotta say, for working in a shop that gets around 100° in the summer, I don't know if there's a better option for me. They look professional (I get comments all the time from coworkers) and keep me off-fire and burn free.

The shirt is great, as always. I opted for the new sleeve pen pocket (I think $7) as I hate having stuff fall out of my chest pockets. The “pen” pocket is one large pocket, big enough to fit a 3 x 5 notepad. It’s just ridiculous.
