When we created our original American Flag arc and flame resistant neck gaiter, it became one of our most popular items. The one suggestion we heard was to make a version in black. Since we listen to our customers, we now have a black flag version.

If you have to wear an arc and flame resistant face mask, you are going to like that our fabric is soft and comfortable, safe to wear against your skin and you won't get that nasty smell known as mask breath once you wear it for a while.

This item meets the performance specification ASTM F1506-18 which is the Standard Performance Specification for Flame Resistant and Electric Arc Rated Protective Clothing Worn by Workers Exposed to Flames and Arcs. This specification is called out in OSHA 1910.269, NFPA 70E and CSA Z462.

Meets NFPA 70E: Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace. Arc Flash PPE Category 1 or “CAT 1” with an Arc Rating (EBT) = 6.4 cal/cm2

This garment is constructed from arc and flame resistant fabric and components in a facility with audited quality controls. It will resist ignition and not continue to burn when the ignition source is removed. This garment is not intended for fire fighting activities and provides no protection from chemical exposure. This garment will maintain its flame resistant properties for the life of the garment provided wash and care instructions are followed.
